About this pattern
These are the instructions for how I made my Tunisian linen stitch dishcloths and what works for me. I hope you find my notes useful and can use them with or without your own adaptations or modifications. The Tunisian linen stitch does not curl much so it makes a nice flat cloth. The picture above shows the two cloths I made; the one in front is facing front side up whereas the second cloth in behind shows the pattern from the back. It helps to have some basic knowledge of crochet and Tunisian crochet before doing this pattern.
Even though I wrote the pattern to be used with DK weight cotton and a 5 mm hook, you may choose to use a larger or smaller hook with thicker or thinner yarn. I also used a slightly larger hook for the starting chain and bind off. I was able to use one 100 gram ball of DK weight cotton to make four dishcloths.
