Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my Ravelry shop?
Absolutely. We never require exclusivity. Sell your patterns on Ravelry, Etsy, your own site — wherever you want. Ply is an additional income channel, not a replacement.
When do I get paid?
Payouts happen monthly via Stripe Connect. Pattern sales are settled on the 1st of each month. Yarn revenue share is calculated at month-end and paid within 5 business days.
What happens if I leave Ply?
Your patterns revert to you immediately — they're always yours. If you have a Branded co-branded yarn line, there's a 6-month off-ramp to wind down inventory. Any outstanding earnings are paid in your final payout.
Who owns my patterns and brand?
You do. Always. Ply gets a non-exclusive license to display and sell your patterns on our platform. Your brand, your audience, your IP. We're a distribution channel, not an owner.
How does yarn attribution work?
Each pattern gets a unique attribution code. When a customer clicks through to Yarnhause.com from your pattern and makes a purchase, that sale is tracked and you earn your tier's percentage of the gross profit. All visible in your real-time dashboard.
