About this pattern
PATTERN INFORMATION
This poncho is super easy, with two rectangles knit in stockinette stitch and sewn together along two sides to create a circular neckline. There are options to make the panels longer or shorter, as long as the row count remains the same across both panels. The finished result is a flowy, asymmetric poncho that falls off one shoulder.
MATERIALS
Yarn
300g DK weight yarn (100g = 272-330m/ 297-360yds).
Look out for a Cotton/Viscose/Linen blend yarn with an irregular texture, also called ‘Flammé yarn’.
Needles
5.5 mm (US 9) needles, or needles 3 sizes larger than the yarn’s recommended needle size

One Size, with options to extend the length and width.
GAUGE
14 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4”) in stockinette stitch on 5.5 mm (US 9) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Alternatively, you can knit to the given measurements if following a different gauge.
