Simply Stripy bandana

This bandana is a simple and playful project to knit. Initially thought to use 2 balls of DK weight yarn with even stripes, you can also customize his length and the stripes size and placement.

Yarn and quantities: 2 balls of DK weight yarn in 2 different colors (between 100 and 125 m 109 and 137 yd / 50 gr ball). Meaning a total of 200 to 250 m 219 and 273 yd of yarn.

Mustard and gray example is knit in Filcolana Peruvian (100% wool - 100 m 109 yd / 50 gr) and By Laxtons Sheepsoft DK (100% wool - 225 m 246 yd / 100 gr) colorways Mustard and Leyburn

Red and pink example is knit with Drops Daisy (100% merino wool - 110 m 120 yd / 50 gr) colorways 20 and 06

The size of the bandana is completely customizable. You can continue knitting until it reaches the desired length or until all your yarn is used.

Gauge: 19 stitches x 29 rows for a 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 in stockinette stitch square, blocked. For this project, getting the exact gauge isn’t that important.

Needles: 4,5 mm / us 7 circular 80 or 100 cm 32 or 39 in

Ce petit bandana est un projet simple et amusant à tricoter. A la base pensé pour utiliser 2 pelotes de fil épaisseur DK avec des rayures régulières, il est tout à fait possible d’ajuster sa longueur et de personnaliser le placement et la taille des rayures.

La taille du bandana est totalement ajustable, vous pouvez continuer le tricot jusqu’à la taille souhaitée si vous avez plus de fil.
