Poop on Fascists

“I am but a little bird, small and insignificant in the face of the hurricane of history. But however much I’m buffeted by the winds of chaos, I will always do my best to poop on fascists!”

This design was inspired by this bird with the text “I Poop On Fascists” from Matt Adrian/The Mincing Mockingbird.

I am fully aware of the ridiculousness of this hat, but it helped me channel my frustration and I am sharing it in the hopes that it might give others a laugh.

The pattern calls for sport weight yarn in the following quantities: Main Colour (natural) 95 m/104 yards Contrast Colour 1 (blue) 65 m/71 yards Contrast Colour 2 (bronze) 27 m/30 yards

The sample hat was knitted in Rauma Finullgarn, 175m/50g. Finull is a woollen-spun rustic Norwegian yarn that knits up much more robustly and thickly than a worsted-spun Merino yarn of the same yardage and weight.
