Jen's Half Hour Hat

The perfect hat to knit for yourself or for someone you care about! This is my personal favorite hat – I have knit several of them for myself and for others, and it’s my go-to daily winter extra cozy hat. (The shape and fit are just right!) Knit this hat in a half hour using 100 grams of bulky yarn. (You can knit two hats from one 200 gram skein!) It’s easy to modify by adding or subtracting rows in the ribbed or stockinette section. YARN Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool or The Wool from We Are Knitters 100% wool 80m/87 yards = 200 gr super bulky | 4 wpi

NEEDLES US 15 / 10 mm 16” circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) US 15 / 10 mm DPNs

NOTIONS Large sitch marker Tapestry needle

GAUGE 5 sts and 6 rnds/rows = 2 in / 5 cm in stockinette stitch on US 15 / 10 mm needles (Use smaller needles for a smaller hat)
