About this pattern
A peerie-patterned hat for the whole family. Featuring colorwork while shaping the crown, this is a stylish hat that doesn’t break pattern. Customize this hat by making it with a folded or non-folded brim, slouchy style or traditional length.
Sizes The hat is designed with 1-2”/ 2.5-5 cm of negative ease. To Fit Size: Newborn (Baby, Toddler, Kid, Adult Small, Adult Large) Approximate Finished Hat Circumference: 11 (12 ½, 14 ½, 16 ¼, 18, 20)” / 28 (32, 37, 41.5, 46, 51) cm Regular Height with a folded brim: 5 (5 ¾, 6 ¾, 7 ¾, 8, 9 ½)” / 13 (14.5, 17.5, 20, 20.5, 24.5) cm Slouchy Height with a folded brim: 6 ¼ (7, 8, 9, 9 ¼, 10 ¾)” / 16 (18, 20.5, 23, 23.5, 27.5) cm

Neon Nep DK (85% SW Merino, 15% Donegal Tweed Nep, 231 yards / 211 meters, 100 grams)
All American Alpaca (100% American Alpaca, 175 yards / 160 meters, ~85 grams)
Needles RIBBING: US Size 4 (3.5 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular for magic loop method (see Notes section for magic loop information) MAIN BODY: US Size 6 (4 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular for magic loop method

5 stitch markers, 1 for the BOR marker and 4 for the crown shaping

Gauge 22 sts, 27 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in colorwork chart worked in the round on MAIN BODY needle after blocking. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
