About this pattern

Calamondin is a colourwork raglan sweater with a loose fit. Worked from the top down, it features stripes of geometric stranded knitting motifs, long ribbed edges and a round neck. With ease in the upper body depth and a fine fingering weight fabric, it’s an easy to wear lightweight garment.

Choose a size with about 15 to 20 cm – 6 to 7 ¾“ positive ease at bust. If you are in between sizes, size down for a better upper body fit. Shown in size 4 on a 95 cm – 37 ½” bust and a 35 cm – 13 ¾“ upper arm.

Yarn : You will need two colours of fingering weight yarn in the following amounts : MC : 850 (895 / 955 / 1025 / 1110 / 1230), (1400 / 1550 / 1690 / 1820 / 1900) m 930 (980 / 1045 / 1120 / 1215 / 1345), (1535 / 1695 / 1850 / 1990 / 2080) yds CC : 290 (330 / 360 / 385 / 420 / 450), (485 / 520 / 565 / 610 / 660) m 320 (360 / 395 / 420 / 460 / 495), (530 / 570 / 620 / 670 / 720) yds

The sample is knit with Filcolana Artwetta (210 m – 230 yds / 50 g) in 977 Marzipan (MC) and Bulbe Bizarre Sock Extrafine (400 m – 437 yds / 100 g) in Leeloo (CC).

Needles : Main Fabric : 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needles with appropriate length to knit in the round and magic loop or DPNs. Ribbing : 3 mm (US 2.5) circular needles with appropriate length to knit in the round and magic loop or DPNs. or sizes required to get gauge

Gauge : 26 sts x 33 rnds per 10 cm – 4” with main needles in stockinette and stranded knitting after blocking Note that a different round gauge will affect the raglan and armhole depth.
